Created using data from NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, we have faithfully recreated the moon’s stunningly cratered topography from beautiful jewellery grade concrete. Hand-finished and presented on a precision machine space-grade aluminium base, this is a truly unique and fascinating item that will be a talking point in any home or office.

Although concrete is a very durable material, jewelry graded Portland cement need to be treated with care. Please avoid dropping your Lunar Surface from sharp objects to keep them from chipping or scratching. In order to preserve the vibrancy of the colors, it’s recommended to store them away from the direct sunlight.
We have paid close attention to every detail of the unboxing experience. We pride ourselves on quality and this comes down to every part including the packaging. Each Lunar Surface comes in a high-quality ridged gift box, with the concrete model and base protected with layers of EVA foam. The set also includes a bespoke information booklet, letter of authenticity with a unique serial number and a cleaning cloth.
Indeed we intentionally created our products with the level of bubbles carefully controlled with each piece coming out truly unique. This timeless process produces only the most beautiful results and creates a piece that is unique and robust.
The process of creating the DeskSpace Lunar Surface involves a lengthy process of casting, curing, finishing and CNC machining. Our craftsmen then carefully clean up the intricate lunar surface and then assemble each piece. The process may be lengthy, but we know that perfection only comes with time.
• We create a detailed 3D CAD model using NASA data from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter.
• We make 1:1 masters in tool grade steel for both the 100mm desktop and 180mm wall versions.
• Moulds are then made from the master which will be used to cast each piece, concrete is mixed in small batches from a combination of Portland cement and aggregates to carefully control the amount of bubbles produced.
